Are you a DV Cleared Dev Ops Engineer based in or around Bristol and ready for your next challenge?
We’re looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Dev Ops professional to join our reputable and growing organisation. This is an opportunity to work on impactful, secure projects while playing a key role across the entire product lifecycle from concept through to deployment and continuous improvement.
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you’ll be involved at every stage of our product development journey. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, build, secure, and optimise software solutions that are safe, reliable, and ready for public consumption.
You’ll also stay ahead of emerging technologies, identify market opportunities, and use customer insights to enhance product performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to conceptualise, develop, and release high‑quality software
- Conduct quality assurance to ensure compliance with prescribed standards
- Deploy fixes, patches, and upgrades as required
- Implement robust security measures to prevent vulnerabilities and breaches
- Collect and analyse customer feedback to enhance usability and marketability
- Recommend workflow improvements to drive efficiency and delivery success
- Identify market gaps and pitch innovative, technology‑driven project ideas
- Provide leadership and mentor junior team members
- Active DV Clearance (essential)
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience across the full software product lifecycle
- Strong background using a wide range of automation tools
- Solid understanding of software security methodologies
- Experience working with multiple programming languages
- A curious, analytical mindset with a passion for pushing boundaries
- Excellent decision‑making and collaboration skills
- Customer‑focused, with the ability to embrace and act on constructive feedback
- Demonstrated leadership capability and mentoring experience
