Element Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Bristol to recruit a dedicated and experienced Facilities Supervisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a facilities professional with strong operational experience and a solid understanding of Health & Safety compliance (IOSH or NEBOSH qualified or working towards) to join a growing and supportive business.

The Role

As Facilities Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficiently run working environment. You will play a key role in maintaining high service standards while supporting both operational and strategic facilities objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily facilities operations across the site
  • Maintain and promote high Health & Safety standards
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Manage and liaise with external contractors and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including IOSH/NEBOSH guidelines
  • Monitor and manage facilities budgets and resource allocation
  • Supervise facilities staff and collaborate with internal departments
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within facilities management
About You
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities
