Element Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Bristol to recruit a dedicated and experienced Facilities Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a facilities professional with strong operational experience and a solid understanding of Health & Safety compliance (IOSH or NEBOSH qualified or working towards) to join a growing and supportive business.
The RoleAs Facilities Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficiently run working environment. You will play a key role in maintaining high service standards while supporting both operational and strategic facilities objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily facilities operations across the site
- Maintain and promote high Health & Safety standards
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
- Manage and liaise with external contractors and service providers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including IOSH/NEBOSH guidelines
- Monitor and manage facilities budgets and resource allocation
- Supervise facilities staff and collaborate with internal departments
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within facilities management
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities
