RSR Sr. Station Leaders are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for an RSR Delivery Station. They manage and lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations, and strengthen leadership bench strength within the DS.
Key Job Responsibilities- Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
- Drive vision for the station team and create quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other lean initiatives to enable the functional area and ultimately the DS to meet and exceed the business plan.
- Problem‑solve for closing gaps between performance and goals.
- Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable.
- Manage an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers under rising volume and complexity, operating 24/7.
- Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs).
- Present operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team.
- Hire and develop top talent; create and implement a talent plan including acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Leverage Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, incorporating them into improvement plans for the functional area.
- Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout all levels of the delivery station team.
- Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and within the network.
- Collaborate with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
- Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of Amazon work experience.
- 7+ years of direct management experience, including salaried, hourly and agency workforce, in logistics, fulfillment, last‑mile, manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results in high‑pressure environments.
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement, including lean techniques.
- Experience with the full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.
- Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for operational problems.
- Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal).
- Experience managing third‑party resources at regional/national scale.
- Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons.
- Flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
- Interest in long‑term career development.

Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), and final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
