Trainee Wireperson

Location: Chew Magna, Bristol
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm (30 minutes Lunch)

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and develop specialist skills in a supportive and professional environment. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

As a Trainee Wire person, you will work alongside experienced professionals and be trained to:

• Assemble electrical control panels and components.
• Prepare, strip, crimp, and terminate cables.
• Fit electrical components and sub‑assemblies.
• Conduct basic electrical testing and quality inspections.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and housekeeping.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• A genuine interest in electrical or electronic assembly.
• Strong practical skills and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, or a technical subject (advantageous but not essential).
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or workshop environments is beneficial but not required.
