- Operate forklift, sidewinder, combi, or other equipment necessary to move raw material and finished goods.
- Ensures traveled finished good bundles are packaged, counted, and labeled correctly.
- Travel finished goods between Pultrusion and Shipping
- Deliver any reclaim glass to the Material Prep Dept.
- Assists with inventory tasks including sorting, labeling, and counting raw materials.
- Flexible to change tasks at a moment’s notice when asked to do so by the shift Supervisor or Lead.
- Follows all environmental and safety precautions.
- Understands all safety data sheets
- Follows work protocols as required
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work with others in a cooperative fashion
- ISO compliant
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observes product inventory to ensure timely production.
- Positive communication with internal customers.
- Minimizes waste
- Effectively communicates production information to subsequent crews.
Experience, Competencies and Education
- High school education or equivalent
- Works well independently
- Computer skills are a plus.
This position requires that the employee be able to perform the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
