• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Assist members with locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods and signing and pricing merchandise appropriately.
• Secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Maintain the sales floor in the Optical area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise in the Optical area; organize and maintain the area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, and completing paperwork logs and required documentation.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers and process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges using proper procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Sell Optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear and contact lens orders, verifying prescription information, and maintaining required documentation and paperwork.
• Collect payments for doctor services and perform and record results of optometric pre‑tests.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may add $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
