Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Repair and replace sensors, switches, wiring, and control systems (up to 480V)
• Conduct major equipment repairs, including overhauls and rebuilds
• Maintain and service equipment such as molding machines, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and stamping equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (LOTO, OSHA) and company safety standards
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions independently

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ year of maintenance or industrial experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including air compressors
• Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and technical methods
• Self-starter capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical job requirements

• Experience with PLCs or computer‑controlled equipment
• Knowledge of HAZMAT procedures and safety systems
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)
