An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in North Bristol has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer based on a retail site in North Bristol. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this commercial building.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
Package- Basic salary of up to £40,000

Monday to Friday
- Rotating Hours
Week 1: 7 am to 4 pm
Week 2: 9 am to 6 pm
Week 3: 12 pm to 8 pm
1 in 3 weekends - if working weekend, you have Friday & Monday off
Hours cover store opening hours
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System
- Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold) - Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing
- Pumps, motors PPMs
- Compliance and logbooks
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
- Escort specialist subcontractors
- Qualified
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline (Not required but advantageous) - Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
