Class 1 Driver

Job Overview

GI Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for our internationally known client in Bristol (BS16). The client offers courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road‑based market and providing delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics services.

• Afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis
• Monday to Friday, with optional weekend work
• Average 12‑hour shift

• Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
• Saturday: £26.35 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
• Sunday: £29.41 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)

• Conduct vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Deliver goods safely to customers across the UK
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments

• Presentable appearance, eye for detail, and positive attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Valid, in‑date tachograph and CPC
• Good customer service skills
• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
