Non-CDL Truck Driver

$1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus

Under general supervision, operate company trucks to deliver products to customers.

• Operate vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal and company rules and in accordance with generally accepted practices of safe driving.
• Safely load and unload cargo as required.
• Maintain ELD logbook in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Complete vehicle inspection reports.
• Review shipping papers for nature of load and special handling requirements as necessary.
• Check load on trailer to determine if it is properly secured and safe.
• Wear safety equipment when handling materials.
• Maintain the truck in a clean, safe, and positive work environment.

• Have or be able to get a DOT Medical Card.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
• Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Read a tape measure. Be able to stand for extensive periods of time.
• Be able to bend over, reach upwards or outwards, twist, turn around, and climb up and down.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Clean MVR with no more than one major violation within the past 5 years.
• Lift and carry heavy material up to 50 lbs; climb on and off flat bed.
• Preferably 3 years of experience driving.

• Most of your time will be spent driving and loading/unloading goods and materials.
• Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
• Generally, the job requires 50% driving, 30% walking, and 20% standing.
• May be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.
