Position Title: Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Status: Non-Exempt
Job Purpose: The Shipping & Traffic Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing domestic and international shipments to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of customer orders. This role serves as the central hub between Sales, Order Management, Customer Service, warehouse operations, dealers, and transportation partners, managing shipping schedules, documentation, carrier relationships, and fulfillment requirements. The position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with customer‑specific shipping requirements, supporting revenue recognition through accurate shipment processing, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Domesticshipments
- Evaluate and manage the daily traffic reports for both small package and LTL/truckload.
- Create the daily LTL/truckload schedule and produce and compile the paperwork (BLs, pick slips, pack slips and pick tags) necessary to execute those shipments properly.
- Ensure our large/big box dealers with special fulfillment needs in labeling/paperwork (Wayfair, Scheels, Amazon, Grainger, NFM) have their orders fulfilled and boxes checked in a timely manner.
- Ensure all shipped orders flow to invoicing to ensure prompt revenue recognition.
- All the above/same as domestic shipments, with the additional duties including:
- Communicating with the forwarder and consequently scheduling a container loading date that fits our ability to execute.
- Coordinating with the dealer/forwarder/sales to ensure that the proper details are relayed in a timely manner.
- Produce and verify all the requisite additional paperwork needed for international shipments (SLI, commercial invoice, etc.).
- Scan and deliver the necessary paperwork to the forwarder/dealer to aid in clearing customs and facilitating smooth shipments.
- Communicate with dealers/carriers regarding shipments and facilitate/arrange any necessary reconsignments or returns after shipments have left our dock.
- As the central hub for fulfillment, coordinate with sales, order management, customer service, outbound shipping and small package department to aid in a smooth shipment apparatus.
- Maintain the SOP binder so all the special needs and processes are available for your fill‑ins to refer to.
- Prepare for and participate in the weekly Operations meeting, presenting the shipping schedule and daily flash (monthly countdown) reports.
- 3+ years of related or transferable experience
- Possesses strong planning skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, including comfort coordinating with staff
- Knowledge of AS400 preferred
- Proficient at MS Office and Excel
- More than 90% is office/desk work
- Walking to small package department and shipping dock on a daily basis
- Office and Warehouse environment
