The Position – Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be working full-time within a Nursery class (ages 3–4) in a supportive primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. Your responsibilities will include supporting early language and communication skills, phonics, early maths, and social development. You will help to plan and set up stimulating activities, observe and track children’s progress, and contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be confident supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs. You must be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to helping children build strong foundations for future learning. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.
