Kindergarten Aide: Assumption Academy

Assumption Academy in Broadview Heights is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable individual to join our team as a Kindergarten Aide / Recess Helper. This part-time position supports our youngest learners in the classroom during the first half of the day and assists with recess supervision during the second half of the day.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and thrives in a supportive, faith-filled school environment. The day is split between classroom assistance and outdoor supervision, providing a dynamic and rewarding experience.

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities
• Support students with academic tasks and classroom routines
• Help prepare and organize classroom materials
• Provide individual or small-group support as needed
• Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
• Supervise students during recess to ensure safety and positive behavior
• Encourage inclusive and respectful play
• Assist with transitions to and from recess
• Communicate any concerns to school staff promptly

• Experience working with young children preferred
• Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Must meet all diocesan and state background check requirements
