City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support, tutoring, and small-group instruction to help students meet academic goals
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement, attendance, and social-emotional growth
• Track and report student progress using provided tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and City Year teammates to plan and deliver interventions
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development sessions
• Support school-wide events, family engagement, and service projects as needed
