Recruiting & Marketing Intern

Emerald Resource Group is looking for a motivated college student or recent graduate who wants real-world business experience.

You will work directly with experienced recruiters and company leadership while learning how professional recruiting, business development, AI research, and relationship building actually work. This is a hands‑on opportunity to see how companies hire great people and how recruiters help candidates build better careers.

• Research companies, industries, hiring trends, and job opportunities
• Identify potential candidates using AI, Linked In, job boards, and recruiting technology
• Help build talent maps and candidate pipelines for current and future searches
• Learn how to write professional outreach messages and follow up with candidates
• Assist with recruiting projects in IT, healthcare, finance and accounting, and other professional fields
• Research prospective client companies and key decision-makers
• Maintain accurate information in our recruiting and CRM systems
• Learn the basics of business development, sales & marketing, job fairs, networking, and relationship management
• Participate in training, team meetings, and recruiter role‑play sessions
• Take ownership of meaningful projects that help the team win new business and fill open roles

• Current college student, recent graduate, or motivated early‑career candidate
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Curious, dependable, organized, and comfortable learning new technology
• Good research skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using AI, ChatGPT, Claude, Linked In, Google, Excel, and basic business tools
• Interest in recruiting, sales, business development, human resources, marketing, or professional services
• Able to work independently, ask thoughtful questions, and follow through
• A positive attitude and willingness to make calls, research people, and build relationships

This internship gives you exposure to the real world of professional recruiting, AI, marketing, and business development. You will work with a team that has deep experience in helping companies hire and helping professionals advance their careers.
