- Provide patient care consistent with professional bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Serve as a resource for patients/families and staff.
- Generate authenticated reports of services rendered and maintain accurate records.
- Complete documentation and communications to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
- Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent‑care operations.
- Engage in professional development; maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) and additional specialty training as required.
- Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD).
- Board certified (or eligible) and licensed to practice in Ohio.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Ohio.
- Current DEA registration.
- DOT certification.
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
- Experience reading diagnostic studies, including X‑rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (provided if needed).
- Eligibility for credentialing as per Well Street Urgent Care.
- Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
- Positive, energetic attitude that inspires team members.
- Sense of service and team orientation.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to create an outstanding customer experience.
