Miracle City Hospice – STNA Position
Miracle City Hospice is hiring a STNA to support Broadview Heights and surrounding counties. Shift Information: Full Time;
Monday‑Friday 12p‑8p

- Perform personal care needs after being assigned a patient and attending to his/her requests promptly.
- Meet safety needs of patient and use equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2, etc.).
- Give personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as often as assigned.
- Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned. Assist in feeding the patient as assigned.
- Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency.
- Provide proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominences.
- Report on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager. Also be aware of the caregiver or other individuals living with the patient and interpersonal issues.
- Provide respite for patient’s/family/caregiver when on‑site, as appropriate.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
- Maintains a current CPR Certification.
- Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients.
- Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
