BranchManager – Training
The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of our armored transportation and cash processing facility. A security-sensitive individual with prior cash services and P&L management experience and a thorough understanding of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and leadership experience are mandatory.
Responsibilities- Supervise all employees at the branch, including supervisors, driver/messengers, and vault employees.
- Recruit, train, and coach new employees.
- Reward, counsel, and develop employees.
- Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines, state/county guard, and weapons requirements.
- Assign daily vehicle routes and maintain vehicle safety and fitness with the vehicle services department or local maintenance vendors.
- Supervise vault personnel and assist in vault operations when needed.
- Fill in on armored and/or ATM routes as required.
- Provide ongoing training and development for team members.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in transportation or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain logistics, routing, and driver supervision.
- Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain a commercial license is required.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a firearm license.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to train and lead armored and CVS employees.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel). Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access knowledge is required; ability to work with spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of armored car personnel work rules, branch labor agreements, FMCS regulations, state guard and gun regulations, and company policies and procedures.
The manager works both indoors and outdoors under all lighting and weather conditions, including heat, sun, rain, snow, and ice. Personal protective equipment may be required, such as firearm, holster, and uniform. Bullet resistant vests are supplied by Garda CL and are recommended for use.
