Accounting Manager

Senior Cost Accountant | Manufacturing Finance | Direct Hire

Are you an experienced Cost Accountant looking to make a direct impact in a growing manufacturing organization? We are seeking a skilled accounting professional with strong manufacturing finance and cost accounting expertise to help drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and business performance.

In this direct hire opportunity, you'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to manage financial reporting, manufacturing cost analysis, inventory accounting, and profitability reporting.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, material, overhead, and inventory variances
• Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, and job costing activities
• Support financial controls, audits, and compliance requirements
• Develop KPI reporting, dashboards, and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of actual cost accounting, inventory valuation, and job costing
• ERP system experience required;
  Infor Visual experience is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• CPA, CMA, defense manufacturing, aerospace, or government contracting experience is highly desirable
