Company OverviewOur client is a growing business services organization seeking support for an active AR cleanup project.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join a team supporting an accounts receivable cleanup project. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands‑on experience with the AR process, exposure to a large, complex environment, and strong potential to convert to a permanent role.
Responsibilities- Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and cleanup across multiple systems
- Support aging analysis and identify discrepancies across customer accounts
- Perform data scrubbing and validation to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with cash application and payment posting as needed
- Collaborate with team members to research and resolve outstanding/aged AR items
- Support month‑end close activities including reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain organized documentation and tracking of cleanup progress
- Perform other accounting support duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience considered)
- Comfortable with frequent outreach to clients and troubleshooting client issues/requests
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and ambiguity
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
- Prior exposure to AR, reconciliations, or ERP systems is a plus
