Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of a manufacturing company based in Brockton, MA. This role is responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting, inventory accounting, and timely financial reporting to ensure accurate plant-level financial results.

• Manage day-to-day transactional accounting activities, including AP/AR support and account reconciliations
• Prepare and post routine journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting, including tracking inventory movements, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support plant financial reporting and assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and performance reports
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and support operational teams with financial insights
• Ensure accuracy of financial data within the ERP system and support process improvements
• Assist with audits and other ad hoc financial analysis as needed

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Solid experience working with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
