This is a critical position, as you will be representing the company over the phone to customers and to local emergency services agencies. Cape Cod Alarm operates its own Central Station, monitored by our team 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We currently have one opening for a Central Station Operator.

• Answering incoming phone calls, directing them to the proper channels.
• Responding to alarm events, engaging with subscribers and emergency services as necessary.
• Troubleshooting over the phone, providing assistance and guidance to callers.
• Possess strong customer service skills, including problem solving.
• Are able to perform basic data entry and type at a functional level.
• Can speak fluent English; be able to speak loudly and coherently for the entire shift.
• Are comfortable working in a group office, as part of a team of operators.
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to work in‑office for all scheduled shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our offices.
• Are able to multitask and keep highly organized in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• All applicants considered will be given a background screening, must be able to pass a CORI check and obtain a Massachusetts Department of Public Safety Security Certificate of Clearance.

Experience as a central station operator or related position is preferred but not necessary, training is available for the right candidate.
