Job Overview

Title: Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Lead – Community Schools’ Summer Programming (4 positions)

Location: Brockton Public Schools, Brockton, Massachusetts

Start date: July 6, 2026

End date: July 31, 2026 (Extended Day positions until August 19)

• Select and implement SEL lessons.
• Identify and promote weekly SEL themes in all daily activities.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with the Director of SEL, program supervisors, faculty, and parents.
• Monitor student participation and skill development.
• Collect student and program SEL data.
• Report to the Program Site Supervisors.

• Familiar with the CASEL 5 competencies.
• Familiar with Character Strong Curriculum.
• Will commit to work the entire program or be willing to job share.
• Will attend required paid training session (up to 3 hours).
• Ability to assist in program as needed.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Contractual hourly rate: $48 per hour, 4 hours per day. All positions are contingent upon program enrollment.

Schedule:

Begin July 6 and end July 31. The Extended Day position continues from July 6 to August 19.
