Saint Columbkille Partnership School (STCPS), located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, educates students aged 2.9 years through Grade
8. Founded in 1901 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the school has educated generations of local families. STCPS was re‑established in 2006 and enjoys a unique partnership with Boston College, serving as the Laboratory School affiliated with its Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and with the Archdiocese of Boston and Saint Columbkille Parish.

We are currently seeking substitute teachers for the 2026‑27 school year for our early childhood, elementary, and middle school programs.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and well‑being of children in the program.
- Teach classes according to substitute teaching plans provided by the absent teacher.
- Provide general program supervision, implement activities, and guide and support children according to their developmental needs.
- Experience working with elementary‑age school children.
- Bachelor’s degree or degree in progress with relevant experience preferred.
- Employment offers are contingent on successful passing of a Massachusetts Background Records Check (CORI, SORI, DCF, and Fingerprinting).
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Pay rate: $21 per hour.
Position type:
Part‑time.
