The Oak Bluffs Public Library seeks an experienced Head of Circulation to join its energetic team.

We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills when providing patron circulation services and library instruction. As the face of the library, the Head of Circulation must be able to connect with patrons by promoting a welcoming environment while connecting them with engaging library materials.

The position is responsible for all facets of circulation and public services. The position ensures that the library's public services meet the needs of our year-round and seasonal community, provides readers' advisory, and trains patrons on accessing library materials.

Associate's degree or equivalent and minimum of one (1) years' experience in a public library preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a public service setting. MA Driver's license required.

Starting pay range $31.29 - $36.27 per hour.

Non-exempt, 40 hours per week, union position with a benefit package that includes health insurance, paid leave and enrollment onto the Dukes County Retirement System.
