New Heights Charter School of Brockton is Massachusetts’ only public school that involves all grades (6‑12) in an Early College approach. As an ESL Teacher, you will provide specialized instruction designed to advance English language development and foster proficiency. You will join a committed, creative team of educators who support young people from high‑need backgrounds, helping them become college and career ready.

You will also help develop and refine curriculum, school policies and enrichment activities.

• Curriculum development, lesson planning, and grading
• Delivering high quality ESL instruction
• Attending department meetings, co‑planning and co‑teaching
• Attending weekly professional development and coaching meetings
• Progress monitoring for ELs, opt‑out and FELs
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Current and valid MA DESE licensure in ESL
• At least one year of relevant teaching experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, cultural responsiveness, adolescent growth and development, effective instructional strategies, and classroom management
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
