This Tax Manager role is a highly visible role reporting directly to the VP of Tax. It balances hands‑on execution and high‑level strategy, with ownership in creating an efficient, high‑functioning tax department that adds value to the business.
We need a builder with a strong tax technical background and a genuine interest in building relationships and collaborating across the business.

• Execute day‑to‑day operational aspects of running the tax department, including account reconciliations, researching tax issues, cash tax forecasting, preparing quarterly tax provisions, and more.
• Oversee international tax and transfer pricing: monitor inter‑company transactions, maintain transfer pricing documentation, and ensure structural alignment across cross‑border entities.
• Manage global compliance: co‑manage and coordinate the preparation, review, and timely filing of corporate income tax returns across 12 countries, focusing on UK and US entities.
• Drive tax automation: identify, design, and implement automated workflows for data collection, tax provisioning, and compliance reporting to eliminate manual spreadsheet tasks.
• Own tax data and systems: lead implementation of new tax provision software and act as the department’s super‑user for financial systems, ensuring ERP data structures support tax provision (IFRS/ASC 740) and global reporting requirements.
• Direct external advisors: serve as primary liaison with external global tax advisors and regional accounting firms to ensure local statutory compliance is delivered flawlessly and on time.
• Partner cross‑functionally: act as a collaborative internal resource for Finance, Tech, Legal, and HR, advising on tax implications of commercial decisions and providing guidance on indirect tax matters when needed.

• 4–7 years of progressive corporate tax experience within a regional/Big 4 public accounting firm or a multinational in‑house corporate tax department.
• Proactive relationship‑building skills and a people‑first professional attitude, comfortable with outreach and building trust across functions.
• Exposure to multi‑entity corporate structures and cross‑border transactions, with solid understanding of corporate income tax and US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Tech‑enabled efficiency mindset: proven track record of using data tools to optimize accounting or tax workflows and automate repetitive processes.
• Experience with corporate tax software and advanced data analytics and automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Professional credential such as CPA, MST, or equivalent.
• Understanding of tax implications and risks in M&A transactions.
• Experience with in the technology sector.
• Strong conceptual understanding of indirect tax frameworks (VAT/GST and US Sales & Use tax) to collaborate with commercial business units.

Annual OTE Salary (Base + Bonus): $128,480 – $160,600.
