Signature Healthcare, a leading independent healthcare system in southeastern Massachusetts, seeks an accomplished finance leader to serve as its next Director, Financial Planning & Performance.

• Oversee Signature Healthcare’s formal budgeting process, long‑range financial forecasting, third‑party reimbursement analysis, and special fiscal projects.
• Report to the AVP of Finance and supervise a team of two direct reports and four additional FTEs.
• Lead financial planning and performance initiatives, oversee reimbursement and budgeting functions, support monthly financial close activities, monitor budget variances, prepare reimbursement‑related audit documentation, and partner closely with Revenue Cycle leadership to analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate current workflows, optimize the organizational structure, and foster continued growth and development across the finance team.
• Maintain an experienced healthcare finance leadership presence with expertise in reimbursement, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analytics; demonstrate a hands‑on leadership style, strong business acumen, and the ability to mentor and develop high‑performing teams while partnering effectively with executive and operational leaders.
• Experience working within complex Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement environments is highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required;
  Master’s degree highly preferred.
• Fellowship in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, including at least two years in a leadership role, required.
