AboutThe Role Hedge Fund Investor Relations
This role works closely with our Hedge Fund Investment teams, client relationship teams, risk teams and business colleagues across the firm to support our clients’ investment needs. It also broadly works with multiple functions such as performance, legal/compliance, fund treasury and fund services, marketing, technology, and trading. Our hedge fund platform spans a wide range of strategies including equity long/short and diversifying strategies.
This role focuses on diversifying strategies, which includes global macro, credit long/short and multi‑strategy.
- Product Ownership:
Marketing, development, and servicing – contributing to client growth and retention by assessing business opportunities, leading business planning, developing new products and investment solutions, and creating the communication strategy for the book of business. - Business Management – managing risk, capacity, pricing, guidelines, existing book of business, pipeline, data, and product messaging; leading resolutions of internal business challenges and executing the business plan for the strategy.
- Investment Integrity and Risk Management – acting as an independent advisor to ensure the integrity of the investment and risk management processes, conducting regular product risk and performance attribution reviews, and contributing to formal investment review group processes.
The Investment Analyst will work as part of one or more product coverage teams within diversifying strategies to contribute to the broad efforts of Hedge Fund Investor Relations. Responsibilities include performing analyses related to portfolio positioning, attribution and risk, market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing. Additional duties include creating and maintaining marketing materials, reviewing and updating RFPs, responding to client and prospect questions, providing monthly and quarterly performance commentary, tracking allocations, assisting with internal updates to PMs, exposure analysis, and general flow data and analysis.
The role requires skills in alternatives products, fixed income and equity markets, data analysis (creation, management, automation), and performance and risk analysis. The analyst will interact closely with investment directors and specialists, contributing to the review and evaluation of our hedge fund data, analytics and materials, and supporting product success in the marketplace.
QualificationsSuccess in this role requires an interest in alternative investments, attention to detail, and proficiency in data procurement and analysis. A positive collegial attitude, high professionalism, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with tight deadlines are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications- 1–2 years of directly relevant experience
- A university degree with strong academic credentials; finance, accounting or business‑related majors preferred
