Position SummaryThe Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
- Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
- Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Endoscopy experience required. - Certification/Licensure: BLS.
- Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.
$20.25- $30.10 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
