Laundry Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, and presented to the highest standards.

This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services.

The Laundry Attendant will work closely with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder various items, including but not limited to linens, towels, and blankets and personal clothing orders.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundered items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Running the register and giving great customer service.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
• Ensure all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• watch for specific customer requests per order.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
