- Support company-wide job profile projects, including job descriptions, benchmarking, and compensation band reviews
- Support development of the revised compensation framework and related reporting
- Assist with Workday system functionality projects and implementation
- Identify opportunities to improve HR system efficiency and end-user experience
- Create and maintain process, system, and end-user documentation
- Analyze HR data and support HR metrics and reporting
- Assist with employee benefits activities, including health and retirement benefits
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support day-to-day Human Resources operations and employee experience initiatives
- Collaborate with departments across the organization on Total Rewards and HRIS projects
- Complete other projects and duties assigned by the VP of Total Rewards & HRIS or Company management
- Demonstrate Watts’ values in daily responsibilities
- Current student with junior or senior status
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working independently and collaboratively
- Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices
- Successful employment eligibility verification and background checks, including required pre-employment testing
- Preferred:
Experience with Workday or other HRIS - Preferred:
Strong technical acumen - Preferred:
Coursework or project experience in compensation, employee benefits, HR analytics, or information systems - Preferred:
Familiarity with process documentation or process improvement - Preferred:
Experience organizing and analyzing data to identify trends and support recommendations
Demonstrates proficiency in HR data analysis, process documentation, and system functionality, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and supporting Total Rewards initiatives. Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, and a strong understanding of compensation and benefits are essential.
