The HR Assistant Performs a variety of human resources duties including customer service, working with new employees on completion of required onboarding documents and steps, data maintenance in the Meditech system, adherence to key workflows in the HR Office.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide service to customers during designated time periods in office, including answering phones in Office, responding to all customers who enter the office, responding to voice mails and questions as applicable, responding or forwarding as appropriate office department email messages and other identified sources of questions presented to the HR Office.
- General Office work including filing, data entry, verification of data, sorting mail, inventory and ordering of supplies, following various workflows within the HR Office.
- MEDITECH and UKG:
Be responsible for identified Product of data entry and verification of changes within the HRIS systems. - Audits new hire records to ensure compliance is adhered to and all documents are obtained in the file for new hires. Complete the necessary processing steps for new hires.
- Complete the necessary processing steps for terminated employee files and documentation.
- Provide support to the maintenance of company-wide recordkeeping for Life Support certifications.
- Provide support to the completion of work supporting the non-employee visitor onboarding and recordkeeping.
- Process the employee bonuses supporting the Referral Program. Work with Talent Acquisition team to ensure accuracy of referrals and other relative data.
Skills & Experience:
- Up to one (1) year of previous office/business experience preferably in Human Resources Department or other public contact role.
- Knowledge of business format for correspondence, excellent typing skills and proficiency at word processing.
- Must be able to reasonably make appropriate judgment in communications and actions with patients, physicians, other associates, outside agencies, and vendors.
- Ability to analyze situations using the HR knowledge, SH policies and situational information to determine appropriate actions to resolve workplace issues and questions.
Skills & Experience:
- One to three (1-3) years of previous office/business experience, in Human Resources Department.
- Experience with the UKG HRIS System and Meditech.
- Solid knowledge of business software applications such as Windows and Excel.
