About the OpportunityA global technology and consulting leader is seeking a SAP Director to lead the delivery of strategic SAP programs for a major Med Tech account based in Boston MA. This is a high‑visibility role responsible for end‑to‑end client engagement, program governance, and value realization across a complex enterprise SAP landscape.
You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and delivery partners, ensuring successful planning and execution of S/4
HANA transformation initiatives and ongoing SAP programs.
Lead planning, execution, and governance of large‑scale SAP programs spanning S/4
HANA, ECC, and BTP — owning timelines, budgets, resources, and quality outcomes. You'll build trusted advisor relationships with senior business and IT stakeholders, manage contractual obligations including scope and SLAs, support pre‑sales and proposal activity, and drive continuous improvement across the SAP landscape. Risk identification, scope management, and stakeholder alignment in onshore/offshore delivery models are core to day‑to‑day execution.
- 15+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in a program or engagement management capacity
- Most recent experience leading S/4
HANA implementation or Landscape Transformation programs - Strong command of SAP platforms (ECC, S/4
HANA, BTP, Fiori, Analytics) and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) - Experience with onshore/offshore delivery and third‑party vendor coordination
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
Preferred: SAP Activate, PMP, or ITIL certification;
Agile/SAFe experience; life sciences or medical device industry exposure.
