The Opportunity

We, at Flywire, are looking for a Salesforce Architect, ideally with a background in Fin Tech. Primarily you will be the technical strategist for our Salesforce ecosystem. You will design scalable, high‑performing solutions that integrate seamlessly with our existing tech stack. Your goal is to ensure that our CRM is not just a database, but a sophisticated engine driving business growth and operational efficiencies.

You will be responsible for configuration and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. As a Salesforce subject‑matter expert, you will be integral in the integration of applications and ensuring that the value of the system is maximized. You will partner closely with cross‑functional leaders to provide technical expertise, lead system enhancements, and ensure that every employee and stakeholder can interact with the CRM system efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution design: lead the architectural design of end‑to‑end solutions focusing on scalability, security and the clicks‑not‑code philosophy where appropriate. Analyze business requirements to determine if they should be solved with configuration or third‑party tools.
  • Data and security design: design the data model, define identity and access management, and set up appropriate sharing rules.
  • Technical governance: establish and enforce coding standards, deployment processes (CI/CD), data integrity protocols, and integration strategy. Manage complex integrations between Salesforce and third‑party systems using middleware such as Workato, Mulesoft or Boomi.
  • Stakeholder management: translate complex technical requirements into actionable business insights for leadership and department heads. Build organizational buy‑in for new solutions and ensure they align with stakeholder needs.
  • Technical roadmap: plan work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize features and maintain a long‑term technical roadmap for the platform.
  • Mentorship: provide guidance and code reviews for Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Innovation and improvement: foster continuous improvement by evaluating new Salesforce features, including Agentforce, AI, and other enhancements to increase business efficiency.
  • Training and support: develop guidelines and documentation. Provide high‑tier technical support to ensure successful adoption of system changes and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, HR, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience developing on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ platforms, with 3+ years in an Architect capacity. This includes experience with Einstein/Agentforce and a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise projects.
  • Certification as a Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
