. This hybrid role is based out of Waltham, MA or Northborough, MA
, supporting New England Electric Business initiatives with predictive modeling, forecasting, simulations, and data products like data requests and dashboards
.

- Apply sophisticated analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to build predictive and prescriptive models
, support forecasting
, and run simulations that address business problems. - Lead small projects from conception to completion, partnering with multiple stakeholder teams to understand and meet analytic needs.
- Support the research, implementation, and delivery of data products for the New England Electric Business, including data requests and dashboards
. - Compile small and large datasets that satisfy internal requirements and align with the Electric Data Management (EDM) technology platform.
- Develop solutions that automate manual workflows and optimize how data and solutions are delivered to end users.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience applying data science techniques in a business environment.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Strong working knowledge of machine learning methods and tools
. - Experience with relational databases such as Snowflake
, Oracle
, SQL Server
, or PostgreSQL
. - Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
. - Curiosity, collaboration, and motivation to learn.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- GIS programming knowledge or experience
. - Experience in the energy industry or another regulated environment

$103,000 - $121,000 per year.
