Systems Security Engineer II – Onsite

• Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results
• Create patch artifacts such as patch media and information assurance posture reports
• Run regression tests on the system
• Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications and other assets
• Use DoD-approved scanning and assessment tools such as Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG and/or RADIX
• Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts
• Develop systems security engineering solutions protecting embedded weapons systems
• Leverage Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management for Program Protection Implementation
• Collaborate with the Systems Security Engineering team on technically challenging assignments

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Experience in system security engineering, network security, computer technology reverse engineering, cybersecurity or embedded security
• Experience with Linux Bash and Python scripting preferred
• Experience in SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle preferred
• Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH preferred
• Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents and controls validation testing for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditations preferred
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance preferred
• Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work onsite
• U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date

Demonstrates expertise in Cybersecurity and Systems Security Engineering, with a strong focus on Linux Bash and Python scripting, as well as experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
