Delivery Dispatcher

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include performance premiums, schedule, facility, season, or work‑specific premiums.

• Coordinate and oversee city route schedules, functions, and delivery specialists from the hub store to spoke stores.
• Serve as the primary contact person for the city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice and ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by the scheduled time.
• Verify the accuracy of each order before delivery specialists pick up the order.
• Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists run on schedule; communicate any delays to the remaining stores on the route.
• Continuously monitor the hub system and routes for opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, or reduce expenses, and communicate recommendations to the store manager.
• Ensure all team members assigned to the hub clock in and out in accordance with company policy.
• Investigate any parts not delivered as scheduled and make necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with the store manager to cover the route during the absence of the regular city delivery specialist.
• Collaborate with the store manager and delivery specialist to maintain vehicle condition, complete inspections accurately, and log daily mileage into asset management.
• Provide input to the store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.

• Required:
  
  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Desired:
  Familiarity with automotive parts; ability to drive a manual‑transmission vehicle; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
