The Maintenance Supervisor handles many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for evaluating problematic systems and determining necessary repairs. They are also involved with hiring workers, assigning duties and responsibilities, and providing training on equipment and procedures. Supervisors coordinate with building management on supplies and inventory, investigate accidents, and file reports.

• Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.
• Supervise all general building maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.
• Keep the building clean and orderly by inspecting for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $25-$30 an hour.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of related experience, including management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of state and local governmental, OSHA, and general maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC codes and maintenance requirements.
• Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
