Pay Rate: $100K- $125K
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sanitation Manager to lead and manage all sanitation-related functions at our manufacturing facility in Brockton, MA. This role is critical in ensuring the plant meets all company, USDA, and food safety standards. The Sanitation Manager will lead a team of sanitation personnel, oversee the execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule, and ensure all compliance, training, and food safety protocols are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and direct all sanitation activities to ensure the facility meets all regulatory and company standards.
- Lead and support sanitation team members to meet daily cleaning requirements and time schedules.
- Train employees on proper sanitation, safety procedures, GMPs, HACCP protocols, lockout-tagout, and emergency protocols.
- Monitor adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Manage chemical inventory and usage to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular sanitation audits and inspections for compliance, safety, and equipment tear-downs.
- Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and compliant with GMPs.
- Provide employee coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Ensure that all environmental microbiological testing results are within acceptable limits.
- Uphold the BRC Food Safety Code and support continuous improvement of the BRC system.
- Ensure all sanitation employees use the correct PPE and that equipment is properly set up and tested prior to production startup.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in a USDA/FDA-regulated facility.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite and email systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to assess sanitation of equipment and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
- Ability to make sound decisions and navigate the facility as needed.
