Overview

Growing food manufacturing organization seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team. This role involves overseeing maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment with a focus on automation and industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year.

Position:
Maintenance Manager

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, with a focus on automation and industrial machinery, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong equipment life and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, including USDA, FDA, SQF, and HACCP.
• Collaborate with other department managers to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and controlling costs.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment parts and services as needed.
• Develop and maintain documentation for maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, and regulatory compliance records.
• Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food sector.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with automation and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with USDA, FDA, SQF, and HACCP regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other computer applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality, with a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance situations outside of regular business hours, as needed.
