Job Description
Position located at 1100 Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Working hours:
approximately 6am-7am, Monday to Friday.
Starting rate $20.00 per hour.

Assists in a meat production facility where specialized cuts and types of meat are prepared, processed, cut, produced, packaged, stored, and/or shipped. Prepares and processes all kinds of meat and/or specialty meat (e.g., beef, poultry, lamb, corned beef) products based on customer orders and specifications. Responsible for following all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards as required by company policy.
Maintains an efficient flow of product through the production process. Requires working in a cold, wet environment. Works as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Cuts and visually inspects meat products to be processed and/or cut. Responsible for the preparation, processing, and packaging of product.
- May be assigned a variety of work duties including but not limited to corned beef processing, cutting beef, lamb, and/or poultry, meat grinding, wrapping, packaging, stocking, product rotation, cleaning, sanitation, and/or product stacking.
- Reviews production schedule, performs safety checks on equipment, and obtains supplies required to perform work.
- Prepares work area to ensure efficient operations.
- Secures equipment, completes all cleaning duties, and completes all required paperwork including HACCP.
- Assembles boxes, packs, labels, seals boxes, and stacks full boxes on pallets for shipping as assigned.
- Opens product cases, removes contents, and rotates dated stock items as directed. Inspects and maintains meat inventory as needed.
- Follows all safety practices and GMP per company policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 0–3 months experience in food production, processing, manufacturing, and/or related work.
Starting rate $20.00 per hour.
