PLANT MANAGER

Nyacol® Nano Technologies, Inc., a leader in the development and manufacture of inorganic colloids and nanomaterials, has an immediate opening for a Plant Manager. This position requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual interested in working in a diverse manufacturing environment. Reporting to the President and CEO, the Plant Manager is responsible for safety, quality, delivery and efficient workflow within the production department.

• Scheduling of production each week for a five-day, 24 hour operation.
• Ordering of assigned raw materials.
• Analyzing and reporting on manufacturing issues.
• Implementing and monitoring cost savings initiatives.
• Tracking and reporting of raw material usage and product yields using the ERP system.
• Maintaining a safe workplace.

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with Sales, Customer Service and R&D.
• Proven ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to a changing, fast-paced environment.
