Laser Machine Operator — 2nd Shift

Location: Brockton, MA
Pay: $24–$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

We are a well-established manufacturing company specializing in precision metal fabrication and custom manufacturing. Our team works with a variety of materials and produces high-quality components for customers across different industries. We are looking for an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our growing team.

We are seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience
. The ideal candidate will be comfortable setting up and operating laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment, handling both short- and long-run jobs ranging from simple to complex.

• Set up and operate AMADA Lasmac cutting machine cells and EMLK
  3610 equipment.
• Set up standard and special tooling.
• Download programs and make edits when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve laser machine problems.
• Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and meet close-tolerance requirements.
• Inspect work before first-piece inspection and at required intervals throughout the job.
• Enter job quantities and labor information into the computer system.
• Perform basic machine and computer operation tasks.
• Operate a forklift when needed.
• Perform some lifting as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years of laser machine operating experience.
• Experience setting up and operating laser cutting equipment.
• Knowledge of laser troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to read and edit machine programs.
  
  Ability to work effectively in a job shop environment with varying job sizes and complexities.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Good manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift materials as required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to enter production and labor information into a computer system.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
