• Active Massachusetts RN license required (MA RN)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing degree: diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of staff nurse experience in an acute care facility, including Charge Nurse or charge/lead responsibilities
• Proven leadership and people-management experience in a clinical setting
• Clinical expertise across the lifespan — infants to geriatrics; experience with surgical and pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills

• Coordinate and supervise patient care across multiple nursing units and departments during evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Serve as a clinical role model and provide direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to nursing staff
• Evaluate nursing care delivery to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient outcomes
• Make staffing decisions, manage human resources activities, and oversee float/coverage assignments
• Act as the on-site hospital representative, coordinating operational and administrative activities for smooth hospital operations
• Plan and direct Nursing Division activities to comply with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and departmental goals
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals
• Promote a positive image of the Nursing Division through effective interaction with patients, families, visitors, and the community
• Support ongoing professional development, staff education, and career growth for nursing team members
