Progressive Care Nurse – Pittsfield, MA
Seeking an energetic PCU RN to join our team. Contract position to start ASAP for 13 weeks with optional extension. 12‑hour shifts available both day and night. This position includes float within areas of clinical skill component.
Responsibilities- Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs
- Detect any changes to vital signs
- Give medications
- Interact with a healthcare team including physicians, therapists and other nurses
- Provide care for patients who have stabilized and moved from the ICU or other unit
- Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- 2 years current PCU/Stepdown experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- MA RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLs (AHA)
- TNCC preferred
- Fluent in English
