This part‑time nursing assistant position (32 hours, days, every other weekend) supports patient care under the direct supervision of the assigned Registered Nurse.
Role Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care across all ages, addressing specific needs related to hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and potential abuse victims.
- Incorporate hospital values, maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, and advocate for patient rights.
- Prioritize multiple patient requests to ensure timely and exceptional care.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a nursing assistant, or current nursing student who has completed “Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.”
- Valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing program with completion of the required courses.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to interact effectively with staff and patients.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and responsiveness to diverse patient needs.
- Computer experience preferred. CPR certification required.
Hourly rate: $17.62–$26.18 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
