Overview
Boston Medical Center South seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg 2B unit. The role supports patients from infant to elderly, addressing diverse physical and psychosocial needs.

32 hours, days, every other weekend, part‑time, benefit eligible
- Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the assigned Registered Nurse.
- Address age‑specific needs and accommodate impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and abuse victims.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and adhere to the organization’s patient‑rights policies.
- Prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely and compassionate care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or proof of enrollment in accredited nursing school with completion of “Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.”
- Prior CNA experience preferred.
- Computer skills preferred; CPR certification required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to diverse patient needs.
Base pay: $17.62 – $26.18 per hour, based on qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, 403(b) savings match, flexible spending accounts, earned time cash out, paid time off, and career advancement opportunities.
