Boston Medical Center South seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg 2B unit. The role supports patients from infant to elderly, addressing diverse physical and psychosocial needs.

Schedule:

32 hours, days, every other weekend, part‑time, benefit eligible

• Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the assigned Registered Nurse.
• Address age‑specific needs and accommodate impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and abuse victims.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and adhere to the organization’s patient‑rights policies.
• Prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely and compassionate care.

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or proof of enrollment in accredited nursing school with completion of “Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.”
• Prior CNA experience preferred.
• Computer skills preferred; CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to diverse patient needs.
