Job OverviewNow Hiring: 1:1 School Nurses (RN) Multiple Openings Available
Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a child's life? We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide individualized 1:1 nursing support for medically fragile students within school-based settings throughout Massachusetts.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule aligned with school hours.
Schedule & Hours- Summer School
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM - 2026/2027 School Year
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Consistent school-based schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays off
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to medically fragile students throughout the school day
- Ride the school bus with the student to and from school as part of the nursing assignment when required
- Monitor students' medical conditions, safety, and overall well-being
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed
- Perform G‑Tube feedings and other skilled nursing procedures as needed
- Observe and document any changes in student condition
- Maintain accurate and thorough nursing documentation and daily notes
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student success
- Active Massachusetts RN
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
- Pediatric, school nursing, special needs, or medically fragile experience preferred
- Strong communication, observational, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while providing compassionate student-centered care
