Schedule

32 Hours (Days – Mix of 8's and 12's), Every Other Weekend Rotation

About Cardiac Telemetry

The Cardiac Telemetry Units at Boston Medical Center – South provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population, managing cardiac patients with a range of medical and post‑surgical needs. Nurses and interdisciplinary teams deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care focused on recovery, stabilization, and discharge planning.

Position Summary

As an RN in the Cardiac Telemetry Department, you will deliver nursing care using a patient‑centered model, supported by a collaborative nursing organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
  • Communicate with health‑care team members, patients, and families
  • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues
  • Update and manage patient records
  • Enter and interpret computerized data/information
  • Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
  • Assist leadership in quality improvement projects as needed
Job Requirements
  • Education:

    Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current RN MA license + BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • Experience:

    Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred

Compensation Range

$38.10 – $77.63 per hour. Range reflects minimum qualifications; actual base pay considers education, experience, and licensure/certifications.
